Sew good: ASC gets creative

Service users at ASC are getting their creative juices flowing thanks to a new knitting and sewing group!

Anne Foulds, Activities Coordinator, set up the group to help the service users socialise, enjoy a blether and a cup of tea and develop their skills.

This week, they have loved taking part outside due to the good weather, and have been working hard on various different creations!

Anne said: “Our service users have loved taking part in the knitting and sewing group. It’s given them a chance to catch up, enjoy a chat and a cup of tea, as well as helping them learn a new skill.

“It’s fantastic to see them enjoying themselves, and the benefits to their mental wellbeing have been huge.

“We are really looking forward to seeing their creations come to life.”
